Refit West

Refit West, a consortium of environmental groups, green architects and eco builders, led by Forum for the Future, is supporting homeowners to increase energy efficiency and reduce fuel bills. Retrofitting homes with energy saving measures reduces energy bills and helps the world by reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

Many homes in the West of England are so called ‘hard to treat’ solid wall properties. You can read here about the experiences of our pioneering demonstration home owners – who went ahead with works, what the measures were, and who decided against doing the works and why – as they try and make their homes fit for the future.
