Had the Parity Projects report on our 3-storey semi last week and are getting our heads round the implications -mainly external wall insulation. I want to use cork but it’s not been used much in the UK.
I’d been thinking about the walls for some time but needed the detailed audit, expertise and supervision provided by RefitWest to take the plunge. It’s going to cost a lot but if the project helps to stimulate effective action on our old housing stock – as well as reducing our own CO2 emissions – then it will have been worth it. Being warmer would be nice too!
