Accessibility

This website has been designed with WordPress and WOO themes. It is built to be accessible to as wide an audience as possible. Some people with disabilities find using the web difficult – we’ve used w3c standards as guidelines and for validation in building this site and hope that it is both easy to use and that it can be adapted to specific needs. If you have problems using our site, please contact us (b.ross@forumforthefuture.org) and we will try our best to improve the site.

This blog is written and published by a group of people in the Bristol City region who have volunteered to describe the experience of improving their home’s energy efficiency and carbon footprint.

The site uses some APIs which stream content from other sites. We cannot guarantee that this content will be accessible to specific guidelines or standards but we will do our best to improve and make content more accessible over time.

Links

Many links have titles which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the content it is pointing to.

Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets by Woo themes for visual layout. This means the page can also be viewed without styles using your browser’s settings. It is also possible to resize the text on the webite using your browser’s settings.

This site also incorporates images from a Flickr stream that holds photographs and captions describing the photographs. Flickr is used to enable people to view a large number of photos and share these via social networks. These are available at www.Flickr.com/RefitWest and clicking on images links will take you to a full image and description at Flickr.com
